I’m a firm believer in the ability of words to change the world. In a society that values productivity and profit at the expense of all else, poetry is an inherently subversive act. I view writing as a tool for uncovering truth and presenting it as a means of cultivating a common humanity. My goal as a poet is to contribute to this collective consciousness with as much honesty and empathy as possible.
Examples of my work have appeared or are forthcoming on Sad Girls Club and Please See Me.
My hobbies include baking pies, playing the ukulele, and wondering why men like to use me for character development.
